The year-round active station provides several possibilities for outdoor experiments in experimental catchment areas, insect aviaries, aquatic mesocosms or in herbivore exclosures and small water bodies in nearby Evo forested area. Smaller-scale indoor experiments are also possible. Extensive long-term monitoring programme provides comprehensive background information for short-term experiments.
The station has well-equipped laboratory facilities, plenty of storage space, different means of transportation on land and lakes and its own workshop for metal and wood crafting. The station can feed and accommodate up to 150 guests.
